News: Attention Deer Hunters!
The State has placed 175 G11 tags to be sold on terminals anywhere where licenses are sold. This will allow our customers that are not conveniently located near the Base Exchange to purchase the tag.  On that note, it is recommended that those WHO HAVE LOCAL ACCESS to the Base Exchange to purchase it there.  There are 325 tags being sold to our Base Exchange patrons. All tags are first come first serve. Please e-mail Officer Moses with any questions: wayne.moses.1@us.af.mil
Again, please be considerate of VAFB hunters living outside the convenient range of the Base Exchange.

This is the elk I harvested during a morning rain storm on September 25, 2007 at Hartland Wildlife Ranches in Ethel, Missouri. The unofficial SCI score is 385. I almost passed him up but as I continued to observe the uniqueness of his antlers I couldn’t do so. I have enjoyed eating the elk meat so much I rarely eat beef anymore. The elk was killed with one clean shot through the heart from unsupported standing position at a distance of 87 yards.

Special thanks to Alan Crowder for helping me transport it today. (Hey Alan, that sudden detour in front of the Federal Prison damaged one of the antlers a little bit.)

Canned hunt..... Did you break a sweat??

Was it like shooting Bessie out in the pasture?

Whatever happened to fair chase?

You're right about this for the most part, but did you even consider that some 100% disabled veterans are limited to following doctor's orders?

So before you mouth off, you may want to slow down a bit and privately ask the individual.
